The Citizens Advice service offers practical, up-to-date information and advice on a wide range of topics, including; debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems. Advice is free and available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.
Help & Care is a registered charity working with older people, carers and communities. They offer support through advocacy and befriending, advice and information on services available, and practical help to enable older people to maintain their independence. They also administer the Older People's Strategy Group, helping older people in Poole to have their say on services and decisions that affect their lives.
Poole Intermediate Care Service (PICS) is provided by NHS Bournemouth and Poole, and Borough of Poole Adult Social Services. We work together to enable individuals to regain independent living skills and make sure that services are in place for people to remain living within their own homes.
