As part of the Big Green Fortnight Brigit Strawbridge, celebrity environmental campaigner with the Big Green Bus visited Lilliput First School last week (Thursday 21 May) to teach children how greener living can be fun and exciting. From learning how the sun can power a buzzing loop-and-wire game, to making their own banana smoothies using a pedal-powered smoothie maker, the children explored allsorts of ways to live and play in a greener way.
The Big Green Fortnight is between15 -31 May 2009 and is hosted by Bournemouth 2026 and Poole Partnership and supported by Bournemouth Borough Council and Borough of Poole Council.
