A Place that is Safe and Feels Safe

Poole has low levels of crime and anti-social behaviour in comparison to other parts of the country and fear of crime and anti-social behaviour is also reducing.

Between 2006 and 2009, crime in Poole reduced by 12 per cent. That's a real achievement in tough economic times when you might expect crime to rise.

Anti-social behaviour is also being curbed. After high levels in the summer of 2009, autumn and winter 2009/10 saw a four-year low in incidents of anti-social behaviour.

Overseeing crime reduction and promoting public safety is the work of a group of organisations which make up Safer Poole Partnership.
