A Great Place to Grow Up

Boat with dolphin, childen and young people sailingPoole Children’s Trust is our partnership of agencies working together to improve the lives of Children and Young People in Poole.

The 2004 Children Act, introduced following an inquiry into the torture and subsequent death of Victoria Climbie, requires local authorities and key partners such as the police, health services, schools and voluntary groups to work together to improve the safety and well-being of children and young people.

All agencies in Poole are working together to improve opportunities for children and young people under the Every Child Matters outcomes.

We have written a new Children and Young People's Plan. The Plan outlines our vision for helping children and young people in Poole make the most of their lives.

The Poole Family Information Service website provides information about Poole's outreach service. The service offers face to face advice and guidance to all family members and carers in Poole.
