Before you are ready to make a bid for funding, the major things you need to be clear about are: - you know your ultimate aim: e.g. to improve the lives of older people in Poole
- you know what you are going to do to fulfil this aim: e.g. to set up a day centre
- you have worked out the tasks involved: e.g. to buy or rent a hall, to hire staff, to buy equipment etc.
- you have worked out the budget which will be necessary to do this.
You will find a lot of information on this website to help you make your bid. You can also contact: Poole's FUNDING ADVISER: - is for groups who are based in Poole or whose work covers Poole
- can help you with advice on where you might find funding and how to get it
- gives free advice
If you know what you want to do, but are struggling to put together some of the detail, or just want some very basic information on what is involved in obtaining funding, contact the Funding Adviser and she will either help you or refer you to someone who can.
