What we do	Do you care for a child with Autism, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD or other Developmental Disorder? Information - Education - Support - Hope! *By Parents and Carers for Parents and Carers.* The ASUR Support Group is run on an entirely voluntary basis by parents and carers. Apart from emotional support, the Group aims to point people in the right direction for help and support for matters affecting their children such as Education, Social Care and Health. ASUR are one of only ten parent groups in the UK who are being supported in a partnership arrangement with TREEHOUSE to try and constructively campaign for better services for children with Autism. ASUR have organised the National Autistic Society to deliver some Parent Workshops and we hope to have more! Parent representatives from the Group have regular meetings with Children's Services to try and move forward with the issues that affect us. We have a large library of books and literature on Autistic Spectrum Disorders and ADHD. ASUR welcome parents and carers of adult children. ASUR welcome parents and carers from throughout the Dorset area. Support Meetings on the Third Tuesday of the Month 7.15 - 9.30 pm at Winchelsea School, Guernsey Road, Poole.
