Poole's State of the Area Debate

By Helen Young (Borough of Poole - Strategy Directorate)

Poole’s annual State of the Area Debate will be held at the Civic Centre on Thursday 19th January 2012.

We are excited to announce that Emma Harrison CBE,  the government’s lead on “Working Families Everywhere” will be joining us and be giving a keynote speech at this year’s debate. Poole is one of the national pilot areas working on this programme and Emma’s pioneering work supporting families into work and living great lives is highly acclaimed.

The evening will also include an “Any questions” - style panel to be chaired by Richard Dimbleby, Chair of Poole Partnership.  You are invited to put your questions to the panel on what we can do to help people and communities in Poole become more self reliant and empowered.

To book a place please contact Helen Young h.young@poole.gov.uk 01202 633398.
